I go to the supermarket once a week. I have to make it stretch. But I don’t have a proper sized freezer, so I cannot put the fresh meats into the freezer. That means I have to cook everything pronto, pack and store in the fridge. Not ideal at all, but this apartment is so very tiny, there is no space for a decent sized fridge – nor can I afford one now anyway. So the bar fridge is it.
Dinner tonight was spaghetti with leftover baked chicken and bits of carrot, tinned tomato, and a few slices of fresh red chilli for garnishing. Pretty good too!
